4 CORE GRADING FACTORS
CENTERING
The positioning of the card's design is evaluated relative to its borders and intended layout.
Left-to-right and top-to-bottom alignment, border balance, and overall visual positioning.
CORNERS
Each corner is examined for its overall condition and the presence of visible imperfections.
Sharpness, wear, softness, bends, whitening, and other visible corner imperfections.
EDGES
The complete perimeter of the card is reviewed to determine the condition of its edges.
Chipping, whitening, roughness, edge wear, and other visible edge defects.
SURFACE
The front and back surfaces are examined for imperfections that may affect overall condition.
Scratches, print defects, marks, indentations, stains, gloss, and overall surface condition.
